According to the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the clothing retail should recede 4.8% this year – representing an average 6.15 billion pieces less. Although the number is negative, the segment is gradually giving signs of recovery, as in 2015, the sector shrank 8%.
